About Neptune’s Fix Elixir
Neptune’s Fix is marketed as a mood-boosting elixir that will give users a mood boost and mental clarity. Still, its active ingredient, Tianeptine, is an antidepressant-like drug that is not approved for use in the United States.
Tianeptine can produce opioid-like effects and has a high potential for abuse and addiction among its users, which has led many to call the drug “gas station heroin.”
The FDA advised that: “There is a reasonable probability of life-threatening events including suicidal ideation or behavior for children, adolescents, and young adults 25 and younger.”
Additionally, some individuals could suffer from other serious side effects that could threaten their health and livelihood:

- Confusion
- Seizures
- Dizziness/light-headedness
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Constipation
- Dry mouth
- Shortness of breath
- Coma
- Death
The side effects of this drug can range from mild effects at normal doses to potentially life-threatening issues and overdose with higher consumption or prolonged recreational usage.
These issues can also be heightened by alcohol use in conjunction with consumption or taking this supplement along with other medications.
The drug Tianeptine is not approved for medical use in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC stated that serious side effects associated with Tianeptine have been on the rise, with 151 cases of Tianeptine exposure reported to their poison control centers.
On February 15, 2024, Super Chill Products, another distributor of Neptune’s Fix, also recalled its products. However, the company has not issued a public statement to inform customers of its recall, which means some consumers could still be in the dark about the possible danger associated with this product.
