Stark & Stark attorneys and staff participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5k Walk and Run in Princeton on August 20, 2022, at the Carnegie Center in Princeton. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was started by the family of Stephen Siller, an off-duty Brooklyn firefighter who lost his life while saving others on 9/11. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation builds mortgage-free smart homes for our most catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. In addition, through its Fallen First Responder Home Program, the foundation endeavors to pay off the mortgages of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters who lose their lives in the line of duty, or to 9/11 related illness, and leave behind young children. The funds raised through the 5k will help support the foundation’s two major programs.
Shareholder, Joe Lemkin, Esq., was the Volunteer Race director and Stark & Stark was a sponsor of the 5k. In addition to Joe, Stark & Stark attorneys and staff ran in the 5k and also participated as volunteers throughout the event.
