Stark & Stark is proud to announce that the firm is continuing with its fifth annual Summer Associate Program. Two Summer Associates will be joining the firm from June 7 through July 30. These Associates will be gaining a broad range of legal experience by working with various different practice groups at the firm over the course of the program.
“It is our honor to welcome our two Summer Associates Esad Metjahic and Joe DeMarco. We are excited to provide a strong foundation of practical experience as well as exposure to our varied practice areas,” explained Managing Shareholder Michael Donahue. “Today’s law students are tomorrow’s leaders of the law.”
The first Summer Associate, Esad Metjahic, is from Wayne, New Jersey. Having attended undergrad at Seton Hall University for a degree in history, with a concentration in Middle Eastern studies and political science, Mr. Metjahic will be a third year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a Board member of the Seton Hall Mock Trial team, and is a legal observer for the National Lawyers Guild. Esad is “looking forward to learning from attorneys with years of experience, and to be a part of a firm that is ready to take on any challenge.”
The second Summer Associate, Joe DeMarco, is from Williamsburg, Virginia, and will be a third year law student at William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. For his undergrad, he attended The College of New Jersey, where he received a Bachelor of Arts, in Teaching: Secondary History Education. Mr. DeMarco has completed externships at William & Mary, Office of Compliance and Equity, and Collins & Hyman, PLC in Williamsburg, Virginia. In addition, he has done work for the William & Mary Business Law Review on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, Executive Board, Training Director, and has been recognized as the New Member Negotiation Tournament Champion (Best Advocate Award). Joe is “most looking forward to learning from Stark & Stark’s team of attorneys and helping them advocate on behalf of the firm’s clients.”
