Stark & Stark is proud to announce that Tommie Ann Gibney, Esq. has been appointed by the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Jury Selection in Civil and Criminal Trials. She will serve as a Committee member until 2024.
“As a member of this Committee, I will work with members of the judiciary and other attorney stakeholders to ensure that the jury selection process remains fair, balanced, and equitable to allow for a diverse pool of jurors for the civil and criminal courts,” said Tommie Ann. “Jury service is one of the most important duties of citizenship; having qualified jurors available to decide the facts in lawsuits and questions of guilt or innocence is fundamental to our entire system of justice. I am honored to be reappointed to this important Supreme Court Committee to serve both the Courts and New Jersey citizens in this role.”
Tommie Ann is a member of the Stark & Stark’s Accident and Personal Injury practice, where she represents persons who have been injured or killed as a result of motor vehicle collisions; slips, trips, and falls; nursing home abuse and neglect; defective products; construction site incidents; and other catastrophic acts of negligence.
