Stark & Stark is proud to announce that it has officially begun the Stark & Stark Mentoring Program, an exciting professional development opportunity and program for the firm’s employees. The mission of the program focuses on creating professional connections amongst employees at various stages of their careers. A mentor and mentee relationship can enhance learning and development at every stage of one’s career. This program strives to ensure that talented employees are retained, empowered, and have access to equal experiences within the firm. Participants will benefit from exchanging advice, creating lasting relationships, and gaining increased opportunities and guidance as they chart a path to success.

This program is a subcommittee of Stark & Stark’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Mentors in the program were selected after a careful interview and application process which asked candidates about their communication style, goals for the program as a whole, and background information on their experiences. The Program does not just involve attorneys, but also other employees. “It’s a great opportunity for the firm because we have offices in different locations, and employees working within different practice areas,” Program Chair Bhaveen Jani explained. “Having a program like this allows Stark & Stark to bring attorneys and employees at the firm together, creating an inclusive environment. It’s a great way to help individuals succeed in their careers.”

Managing Shareholder Michael Donahue is also excited about this new initiative. “The new Mentoring Program begins a new chapter in professional development at Stark & Stark,” he stated. “By initiating and strengthening new connections among all of our team members, we are excited by the prospects of enhanced growth, development, and positive reinforcement.”
