Under Pennsylvania’s Dram Shop law, a business or individual who gives alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person is legally responsible for any damage that person might cause. Appealing a Zoning Officer’s Decision

If you are denied the issuance of a permit on the basis that the proposal violates the zoning ordinance, you may wish to seek an appeal of the zoning officer’s decision. An appeal of any order, requirement, decision or refusal made by an administrative officer based on the zoning ordinance is brought by an appellant to the zoning board of adjustment. Real Estate Tenancies Explained

There are three principal types of tenancies related to the ownership of real estate. Perhaps the most popular, and most familiar, is the joint tenancy. If two persons own a property as joint tenants, upon one person’s death, the other person automatically owns all of the interest in the property. There is no limit on the number of persons that can hold property as joint tenants. As more and more business owners are forming limited liability companies (“LLC’s”) to operate their businesses, familiarity with the statute that governs limited liability companies (which in New Jersey is the New Jersey Limited Liability Company Act (the “LLC Act”)) is important.
