Stark & Stark Shareholder James L. Creegan was sworn in as the 81st President of the Mercer County Bar Association at its Installation Dinner on January 23, 2020, along with the 2020 Officers and 2022 Trustees. Each November, the Mercer County Bar Association’s members elect the Board of Trustees, who will govern the Bar Association. James has served as a member of the Board of Trustees, and later an Officer, of the Mercer County Bar Association since 2009, and previously served as the chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee and the Young Lawyers Committee. This achievement recognizes his hard work and dedication to the legal profession, its practitioners, and the Mercer County community.
“James follows in the footsteps of Sidney Stark, Amel Stark, John Sakson, Bruce Stern, and Denise Mariani who all previously served as Mercer County Bar Presidents,” said Stark & Stark Managing Shareholder Michael G. Donahue. “We wish James the best as he embarks upon this year’s journey leading Mercer County’s attorneys.”
The Mercer County Bar Association’s mission “is to serve its members and to aid and instruct the public in matters pertaining to the law, the practice of law and the legal system and to promote the administration of justice in Mercer County, the State of New Jersey and the United States of America.”
James L. Creegan is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Workers’ Compensation law attorney.
“Our focus this year will be on Diversity & Inclusion and community service outreach,” said James.
James focuses his practice on representing injured workers from a variety of backgrounds throughout the state, including those who have suffered significant spinal injuries, totally disabled individuals, and workers injured as the result of the negligence of a third party. His individual approach to each case allows him to obtain unique results for clients suffering from permanent or catastrophic injuries. James is a frequent contributor to the Personal Injury Law Journal.
