Stark & Stark Shareholder Domenic Sanginiti was announced as one of only four 2018 recipients of the Wiedemann & Wysocki Award from the American Association for Justice (AAJ) this week. The award recognizes AAJ members who have made “outstanding efforts to advance AAJ’s political outreach projects and priorities.”
The award is named in honor of Fritz Wiedemann and James Anthony Wysocki, who were two former AAJ members who died in a tragic plane crash while on assignment to assist with AAJ duties. The award is presented to members who “have carried on the legacy of Fritz Wiedemann and James Wysocki, who were passionately committed to the principles of the civil justice system and AAJ’s Mission.”
Domenic was also presented the Excellence Award by the AAJ’s New Lawyers Division. This was the third year in a row Domenic had been presented this award. The New Lawyers Division is a division of the AAJ which serves the needs of members under the age of 35 or those who have been practicing law for less than 10 years. The goal of this group is to offer their members “the camaraderie and support they need to excel in representing individuals and serving their communities.”
Additionally, Domenic was also given an award in recognition of the Leadership Academy. The Leadership Academy is an initiative of AAJ’s Diversity Committee, and was created to give AAJ members “skills and techniques needed to make them effective leaders in professional settings, in AAJ, and in their communities.”
