Stark & Stark Shareholder Allen M. Silk was elected to serve as Chair of the Executive Board at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Foundation. Mr. Silk previously served as past Board Treasurer and Chair of the Investment Committee, and has been a long-standing member of the Foundation Board at TCNJ. Additionally, Mr. Silk co-chaired The Campaign for TCNJ, which was the college’s first comprehensive campaign that concluded in June of 2017.
“My long-time affiliation with the TCNJ Foundation is because I believe so strongly in its mission and its demonstrated ability to help give young people such a strong start to their academic careers,” explained Mr. Silk. “I’m honored to serve as chair of the foundation board.”
Allen Silk is a Shareholder at Stark & Stark and a member of the Trusts & Estates and Business & Corporate Groups, where he focuses on helping business owners plan for the transition and succession of their businesses. His experience includes a broad range of tax, trusts and estates and general corporate matters including sophisticated estate planning, the administration of estates and trusts, closely-held business counseling and business succession planning, the structuring of business entities and joint ventures, the acquisition and sale of business interests, and various corporate, partnership and individual income tax matters.
