Jonathan Lauri is a Shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s Nursing Home Negligence Group. Mr. Lauri has dedicated his career to seeking justice on behalf of those who have been neglected, abused while residing in a nursing home, assisted living facility, hospital, and the like.
Jonathan is an experienced and skilled litigator who has tried cases to verdict in counties throughout New Jersey. Jonathan will fight tirelessly to make sure nursing homes, hospitals, and the big business behind them are held accountable for their actions.
Jonathan was raised and has lived in New Jersey for all his life. He is proud to be known as a fighter who is willing to stand up on behalf of those in need, which is something he learned early on from his father. In college, Jonathan began working part-time for a law firm in Middlesex County, where he realized his passion for the law and seeking justice for the individuals who were represented.
Prior to joining Stark & Stark, P.C. Jonathan had worked as a Judicial Fellow for the Honorable Rose Marie Defino-Nastasi, in the Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County. While there, he drafted judicial opinions and bench memoranda for direct and post-conviction appeals of homicide convictions based upon extensive legal research. He then began to work for a well-known personal injury law firm in Central Jersey, where he represented his clients’ interests in a variety of civil litigation matters including nursing home malpractice, Tort Claims Act litigation, and premises liability.
Jonathan currently serves as secretary for the Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce, which focuses on promoting business in Lambertville and the surrounding areas. He also is a volunteer member of the Regional District Ethics Committee VII for Mercer County, which is a committee that serves to preserve the confidence of the public in the integrity and trustworthiness of lawyers in general. Jonathan’s proudest accomplishment is being a husband and father.
