Robert Bratman is a Shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s Personal Injury Group, as well as a certified expert Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. With a career devoted to championing the rights of those wronged, Robert specializes in representing individuals who have endured traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic injuries, including fatalities resulting from automobile crashes and premises liability.
Robert served as Practice Group Leader of Stark & Stark’s Personal Injury Department from 2017 to 2024 and he now leads the firm’s intake department.
A seasoned and adept litigator, Robert has successfully tried cases to verdict across numerous counties in New Jersey. His unwavering commitment to his clients is evident in his relentless pursuit of fair compensation for the injuries caused by others’ negligence.
Hailing from New Jersey, Robert takes pride in his reputation as a determined advocate for those in need. He is renowned for his rigorous work ethic and his dedication to going the extra mile for each client, which has consistently yielded outstanding results.
Beyond his legal practice, Robert is deeply involved in community service. He serves on the board of Attitudes In Reverse, an organization focused on educating youth about mental health and suicide prevention. He is also a board member and secretary of The Center for Modern Aging, Princeton (formerly The Princeton Senior Resource Center), which supports aging adults and their families in the greater Princeton area. Additionally, Robert sits on the advisory board for the Crossings Animal Society, a non-profit animal protection organization. His past contributions include serving on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America, George Washington Council, where he chaired the Sustaining Membership Fundraising, and founding and leading an Explorers Post in Law at Stark & Stark. Robert has also served as a board member and secretary of the Chapin School, Board of Trustees, and he participated in the Tulane University, Central New Jersey, Admissions Committee. He was also a member of the Bill Bradley, Young Citizen, Awards Committee.
In recognition of his professional excellence and dedication, Robert was honored with the 2023/2024 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award by both the Mercer County and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
