The Stark & Stark Women’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) would like to thank everyone who volunteered at the Shine and Inspire Children’s Annual Winter Event on December 10th.
Based on the idea of paying it forward, Shine and Inspire is a non-profit organization that works to enhance the quality of life for Mercer County residents through the charitable gifts of local businesses and members of the community.
At the Children’s Annual Winter Event, Shine and Inspire ensures that every child goes home with a coat, winter boots, hat, gloves, and a gift. The day is filled with fun activities for the families to educate them about the importance of paying it forward to their community.
Stark & Stark matched employee donations to raise a total of $2640 for the Children’s Annual Winter Event. This provided 135 kids (50 families) with coats, winter boots, hats, gloves, and holiday gifts. Our employees brought their fun and creativity by volunteering at the event crafts table to help the kids create their own holiday artwork.
