The Mercer County Community College (MCCC) has welcomed Stark & Stark Shareholder Thomas S. Onder to their Foundation Board.
Mr. Onder joins over 15 other board members to serve the college in many significant ways by implementing community and financial support initiatives. These initiatives include fundraising efforts and educational opportunities benefitting the Mercer County Community College students. The Foundation Board members also serve as college ambassadors by identifying potential contributors to the organization.
Tom is honored and thrilled to serve on the Foundation Board. “Being on the Board means giving back to the community,” Onder stated. “I have a soft spot for this organization because my father, who was a Blue Collar Tradesmen for most of this life, decided in his forties that he wanted to go back to school to make a better life for our family. When he went back to school, he used the community college system. Being a part of the MCCC and their Foundation Board is very close to me, and also allows me to see the positive effects of what a community college setting can do for others.”
